How to create a more inclusive space

For dance teachers, choreographers and cultural workers. Embracing diversity in Levels, Abilities, and Identities

This workshop is aimed at dance teachers, choreographers and anyone interested in making dance classes and productions more inclusive - for different levels, bodies, genders and queer people.

In this workshop, the team from FLUX crew's dance project "UNAPOLOGETIC" will provide insights into their experiences directly from the process. Proven tools and methods that the team works with will be presented.

Following the principle of "each one teach one", we will then reflect together on our previous teaching and mediation experiences and jointly develop new, practice-oriented approaches.

Participants will leave with concrete tools, insights into new perspectives and a strengthened ability to reflect in order to make their dance classes and productions more inclusive and open.

The workshop can lead to tandem partnerships that promote long-term development and collaboration for more inclusive dance projects and spaces.
