Buh!

These 9 events to kick off the long winter nights show that spookiness can also be quite atmospheric apart from the Halloween dressing-up fun.

Horror on the stage

A woman disappears without a trace and the boundaries between reality and fiction become blurred. The mystery musical about the mysterious disappearance of Agatha Christie sends shivers down your spine, delves deep into the darkness of her memories and raises an unsettling question: What if she knew more than she ever revealed?

The play "Unbelievable! C'est pas croyable!" creates subtle horror by shaking up our beliefs and truths and showing how uncertain our perceptions really are. The unsettling question of what we can believe makes the audience feel how scary it can be when reality and fiction become blurred.

Cinematic horror

The horror genre in cinema appeals to people's deepest fears and darkest fantasies. Whether through images, atmosphere or suspense - each film unfolds its very own kind of horror. The Filmpodium, Riffraff and Xenix have put together an eerily beautiful film programme for the long winter nights. Starting with the classic masterpiece "Nosferatu", which becomes an eerie experience in combination with live music.

This is one of the most exciting horror films of recent years: "Get Out". It is clever, funny and disturbing at the same time. One of the classics of the genre is "The Exorcist" - the name says it all and the film is cult. For the particularly hard-boiled, "8 Hours of Horror" offers a whole night of horror. The programme of four films is a surprise, accompanied by hot soup and coffee.
